BIOGRAPHY

Hiroaki Yamanaka´s sculptures are exceptional and a great example of continuity in the ancient tradition of Japanese Buddhist sculpture. It presents the figure of a Buddha without the body of the Buddha actually appearing or fragments of the body. This is done as a way of asking a spiritual question which has multiple answers.

Hiroaki Yamanaka was born in Japan in 1983.
